VP's are invited by the Executive to become Vice Presidents of our organisation. There are no strict guidelines to becoming a VP but those appointed are usually someone who has shown dedication, is mutually and collectively respected, and has shown commitment to the brass band movement over a period of time.
It is a voluntary post and no remuneration is involved.
National Executive Officers are voted onto the Executive Board having been interviewed, provided an extensive CV to support their application and received an appropriate number of votes at the national conference. The Regional Representatives are your first direct contact for the NABBC. As Representatives they have an insight into the way the NABBC works and, are able to advise you on the best route forward for you or your band. Their needs analysis supports local brass banding and provides your local region with a voice on the national stage, expressing concerns, enjoying & sharing success and celebrating & promoting brass banding.
As Regional Representatives they are vital Executive Board members.
