Birthday Tribute To Our President

As President of the NABBC since 1993 Dr Roy Newsome remains a proactive, creative inspiration to those of us who need and rely on his infinite wealth of experience and knowledge. His aspirations continue to lead the way forward in so many aspects of the brass band movement. His consistent drive for excellence in performance, adjudication and educational provision has provided all brass bands with high expectations and a foundation upon which we can build our bands. He continues to give so much of his time, and his sharp wit makes every event entertaining and worthwhile. He remains the most respected gentleman in the brass band movement and fully deserves every accolade on this his 80th Birthday.
